masters. Uncompressed editing in our discreet Edit A room provides
you with a modern, comfortable environment loaded with all the toys
you need to make magic. We can work from scratch or take your existing
edit decision list and conform.
 
Our editing rooms have been meticulously designed to give our editors
access to all the tools they need to give you everything you want.
Importing elements is a breeze with our high-speed network and high-speed
connectivity through out data center. All the main equipment for
the edit bays are housed in a central terminal room, leaving the
working rooms exquisitely silent. Computerized routing and patching
for video, audio and control gives you the flexibility to bring
footage and audio in from any of our multiple tape formats and the
power to master to the format of your choice. Our SDI equipped DVCPro
decks allow digital transfer of your Mini-DV tapes to our uncompressed
editing systems.
 
At the other end of the spectrum, our Sony HDW-F500 VTR allows us
to take your HDCAM® material at any frame rate directly into
the edit systems or to a tape format of your choosing. Full frame
HDTV material can be used in a number of ways including a 16:9 cropped
image, a 4:3 cropped image or panned and scanned according to your
needs.
Multi-layering and special effects are instantly at your fingertips
in our editing rooms. Completely integrated paint, particles, compositing
and color correction give you the flexibility to add, fix, repair
or dazzle anytime and anyplace you need or want to. Our experienced
operators have a couple of decades of editing and effects time under
their belts and can provide you with consulting on your ideas before
or during the editing stage of your project.
Studio 57 is fully integrated and in our editing bays, that means
you get to take your product and send it almost anywhere, instantly.
Output your shots or your final edit directly to a web server in
our fully equipped data center, or email a 30 second TV spot directly
to your client.  Because
it’s all digital, you can even go directly to a CD or a DVD
and let our talented operators build in any amount of interactivity
that you need.
Editing at Studio 57 has been compared to sitting
